Preventative Care

Routine Checkups

As a pet owner, one of the most important things you can do to make sure your pet stays healthy is to schedule regular visits with your veterinarian. Routine check-ups can make all the difference for a pet of any age, from a new kitten to an aging dog.  Because our pets cannot communicate when they experience early symptoms of illnesses or injuries, routine visits with your veterinarian may be absolutely crucial in detecting medical conditions early on.

Behavioral Medicine

Illness doesn’t always have a physical cause. Our team is trained to identify and help determine the cause of such disorders as separation anxiety and obsessive behavior, and then develop a treatment regimen for the client.

Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet’s teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly – above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity.  We also have a full line of dental home-care products to help maintain good oral health at home.  Let us help you create a home care routine that is manageable for your family. Don’t be afraid to let you dog or cat breath on you. Call us today to schedule your pet’s dental cleaning.

Laser surgery

Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

Specialized Surgery

Our veterinary surgeons are able to perform eye surgery and orthopedic surgical procedures.  We also maintain close relationships with board certified specialists who can assist us for more complicated cases.
