Dr. Victor Morell Lopez
Dr. Victor Morell Lopez is an Associate Veterinarian at Corrine Drive Animal Hospital. He is originally from Camuy, Puerto Rico who earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing his clinical year at Kansas State University. He has a strong clinical interest in small animal surgery and pathology and is passionate about providing thoughtful, effective care to every patient he sees.
Dr. Morell began working in the veterinary field during his undergraduate studies in microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo. While working as a veterinary technician in an emergency hospital in Hatillo, Puerto Rico, he found that veterinary medicine was the perfect blend of his love for animals and his deep interest in science and medicine.
Clients often appreciate Dr. Morell's calm and communicative style, especially when discussing challenging diagnoses or treatment plans. He believes that strong teamwork between veterinarians and pet owners is key to every patient’s long-term health and well-being.
When he’s not at the clinic, Dr. Morell enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Yari, and their four cats, Nagini, Salazar, Bellatrix, and Yepee Solo, as well as their bunny, Leia. He values time with friends and family, and finds balance through relaxing at home, connecting with nature, and always continuing to learn.
